60 Second Interview

SHORTLY after our Christmas edition appeared on the street last week, Euro Weekly News received a call from a man, claiming to be a King, who wanted to meet one of our reporters so we could get to know him and his two friends. Intrigued, we went to meet, Melchior, Caspar and Balthasar, who after seeing our interview with Santa, wanted to have their say.

This week Euro Weekly News caught up with a man who, despite his busy schedule during the festive period, was able to answer a few questions and tell us exactly how it is that he manages to travel worldwide in just one night. We are referring, of course, to Santa Claus.

ANNETTE SAHLERTZ DE FERNANDEZ is the Vice-Consul for Denmark in Malaga. Born in Odense, home to universally know writer Hans Christian Andersen, she has lived in Spain for over 30 years marrying a Spanish man with whom she has two children. Before coming to Spain she lived and studied in Basilea, Switzerland, where she worked for years in an international firm as a secretary and correspondent later working in aviation in both Denmark and Spain.
