The Bus del Sol hits road for second year

 A SPECIAL bus is once more helping to promote the Costa del Sol to international and national tourists.
The Costa del Sol Tourist Bus project, introduced last year, was so successful in 2006 that it was launched again earlier this month, with the Bus del Sol and other promotional vehicles travelling around 15 cities to highlight the many attractions of the sunny coastal region.
This year’s programme, which began earlier this month, will continue for 11 weeks until July 1, with the bus and support vehicles stopping in main squares or commercial centres.
Surveys and contests will be held and promotional material including small gifts will be handed out by officials when the bus visits Cuidad Real, Valencia, Madrid, Getafe, Vallodolid, Zaragoza, Vitoria, Bilbao, San Sebastian, Pamplona, Zamora, Leon, Oviedo, Gijon and Cordoba.
Arrival of the Bus del Sol will be announced through publicity campaigns, with the entire project costing approximately 260,000 euros. |  Return to Top
