Over 94,000 go down ADSL line

OVER the last three years, 94,243 new ADSL lines have been registered in Malaga province.

Statistics show that the province has the third highest density of broadband lines in Spain, with more than 64 per 1,000 residents.

Marbella has the highest number of broadband lines within the province with 15,417 additional lines registered since 2002. Fuengirola is not far behind.

Meanwhile tens of thousands of Internet users throughout Spain were affected when a net server broke down in the Telefonica ADSL network which took five hours to mend, during which time clients phoned in to protest.
