New ecological bread

A BREAD factory in Malaga has developed a new type of ecological bread that is similar to bread that was produced 100 years ago. The bread is made with grains not treated with pesticides and comes from traditional wheat fields; furthermore the bread doesn’t undergo any other chemical treatment.

The production of the ecological bread is currently ten per cent of the total manufacturing outcome of the company. Ecological produced products are not as popular in Spain as in the rest of Europe, and at the moment a laboratory on the Technological Park in Malaga is researching a method to conserve the bread for 15 days so it can be kept fresh and transported to other countries.
