Abuser tries to kill himself

A 42-YEAR-OLD man was arrested by National Police in Malaga after attacking an officer who prevented him from jumping out of a window to commit suicide. The man had a record of sexual assault, sentence violation and violence in the home. He had allegedly been hitting his wife and when police arrived he had a rope around his neck which was tied to a curtain rail and tried to jump. The police caught him as he hung there and prevented his death, he resisted them and hit one agent. He then received medical attention and was arrested at the local police station where he was kept in custody. He had been reported by his wife for battery and abuse in a public place.
