GREEN PARTY candidate for Mayor of Malaga, Angel Rodriguez, has promised to substitute the project of construction of a thermal power station in the Andalucian Technological Estate in Campanillas, to that of a thermal solar power plant, if he wins the upcoming elections.

Rodriguez made assurances that the solar power plant will generate around 300 permanent jobs as opposed to the 30 foreseen in the construction of the thermal power station. Another electoral proposal of his is the increase of solar panels for hot water in hospitals.
