LAURO GOLF in Alhaurin de la Torre is hosting a friendly England versus Spain golf challenge this week. The challenge runs over two days and features a team from The Sports Academy and the Under 19s from the Andalucian Golf Federation – both teams are of a similar age group and golf standard. The Sports Academy is a vocational school for youngsters whose primary interest is golf- whether it be playing the game, coaching, golf fitness or golf pyschology and is based in Stoke-by-Nayland in Suffolk, UK.

The challenge runs over two days and has been described as a mini-Ryder Cup for those participating. The two best Spanish players will win a place at The Sports Academy for a week and the two best English players will receive a voucher for golfing equipment.
