May crosses in Torremolinos

THE Mayor of Torremolinos, Pedro Fernandez Montes, visited the first Cruces de Mayo (May Crosses) that were created by different associations and citizens groups for public display. Accompanied by most of the members of the local council, the mayor displayed his support in the maintaining of this unique tradition marked by religious aspects and the typical festive atmosphere of Andalucia.
