El Torcal: Famous for its rock formations.

EL TORCAL in Antequera has recently been declared a site of natural interest by the European Union.

The list of sites establishes an ecological network which serves to protect natural habitats, flora and fauna. There are 39 sites listed in Malaga. El Torcal, famous for its incredible rock formations and the wildlife that can be seen there, is amongst the most popular spots for local and foreign tourists interested in visiting natural scenery of great beauty.
