Teacher hit me, says boy student

A SIXTH-YEAR student at the Laza Palacio School in Rincon de la Victoria claims to have been attacked by a trainee teacher. The 11-year-old boy says he was waiting to go on a field trip with classmates and accidentally opened a door, causing the teacher to tell him off and try to drag him by the arm to the headmaster’s office. The boy then went on the trip but the teacher prevented him from joining fellow students and pushed him away if he tried to do so. He also claims that the teacher held him around the neck and told him not to show off.

After the trip, the student claims the trainee teacher again tried to take him to the headmaster’s office, held him tightly by the arm causing him bruising and hit him around the head. The report shows the child was bruised and that he was very upset when he reached the health centre.

The teacher denies all of the charges, saying he did not touch the boy.
