In the pink and raising money for breast cancer

POSITIVELY PINK’S "Take a Walk of Life" charity walk in aid of Breast Cancer was a fabulous success with a running total of 11,607 euros being raised which will go towards the money needed to fund the essential Breast Cancer Treatment machines needed on the coast.

After a week of charity events with the help of the Calahonda Lions, all proceeds are being donated to Positively Pink a new charity on the Costa del Sol dedicated to raising money for breast cancer.

However, the charity is still in the process of collecting more sponsorship money, so if there is any outstanding, please have this donated by May 31. Positively Pink would to thank everyone that has been involved in the charity events and also those who have taken part and helped to raise money for the cause. The charity has more events planned for this year including a golf day in July and a Pink Ball in October as that is Breast Cancer Awareness Month. As “Take a Walk of Life” was so successful, they have already decided to make this an annual event.
