World Vision Charity Day

Jackie: At the popular but hectic cake sale.

The International School Estepona Sports Day had a different twist this year as it was sponsored by The World Vision Charity that raises money for underprivileged children worldwide.

A cake sale was held on The Sports Day where parents created some fantastic baked goods which reflected the many different nationalities at the school.

Jackie Nicholls said: “My two children attend this school and The Director agreed to use this event to get visibility to the charity here in Spain. My own children enjoy corresponding with the kids we have sponsored, and we have received a photograph of our little boy in Bangladesh who purchased a rice cooker with the money we sent him.

With the money we raise today with our cake sale we hope to enable a child to attend school in Kenya.”
