STREET KIDNAP ORDEAL

A 60-YEAR-OLD woman was kidnapped at gunpoint in Malaga and only freed after a two and a half hour ordeal during which she was forced to hand over 3,000 euros they forced her to withdraw from her bank account.

The victim was walking through the Martin Carpena area of Malaga when a young woman approached and asked directions. Before she could answer another man and woman appeared and forced her into the passenger seat of a nearby grey car.

Police have revealed they then threatened to shoot the woman while demanding money. As she had no money or documents on her, they ordered her to take them back to her house to get bank cards before forcing her to withdraw 3,000 euros from a cash point. Only then did they release her and flee.

National Police are investigating, with the victim revealing she believers her attackers had Malaga accents.
