Abuse girl “influenced by tarot card reader”

THE MALAGA PROVINCIAL COURT has acquitted a 47-year-old man of two crimes of sexually abusing his girlfriend’s daughter while they where living together in a country house in Cartama. He was facing an 11 year and eight month jail sentence and was on remand after the daughter, who is a minor, accused him of pinning her down and sexually abusing her on two occasions in July last year.

The court has since acquitted the man due to a of lack of evidence and the “minor’s variable testimony which has even been doubted by her mother”.

According to the court, the medical reports found no sign of abuse and it was proven that the girl had been influenced by a tarot card reader.

The accused man was released from remand after the girl refused to undergo a psychological test.
