Marbella man dies in Gambia accident

• 14 Jun 2007 •

THE father of one of the two men who died in a traffic accident in Gambia, has thanked the Spanish Embassy and said he was kept informed at all times and that they were very sensitive about his family’s loss. The deceased, a 31-year-old from Marbella, was travelling on a bus with 10 Spanish tourists, two of whom died in the accident. The young man was a telephone technician and had travelled to Gambia to practise one of his hobbies,  archaeology.

His remains were flown to Barajas airport shortly after his death.
