Honouring600 dead

THE REMAINS of approximately 600 Republicans executed during the Spanish Civil War have been exhumed from common graves in San Rafael cemetery, Malaga.

The Association Against Silence and for the Remembrance and Recovery of Malaga’s Historical Memories says that there are more than 4,000 executed Republicans in the cemetery, including 1,000 from Malaga.
