Charity fishing event

David Petherbridge holding aloft his catch of the

CALLING, all the anglers out there who enjoy match fishing; there will be a charity competition July 14 and the venue will take place on a carp pit in Alhaurin on the Cartama road. All the proceeds will be going to a girls’ orphanage in Sri Lanka, who are homeless or who have been abused.

The price per peg will be 25 euros and there will be a trophy for first, second and third place, with a small cash prize awarded.

Included in the entry price are a few beers and a burger (not fish burgers however!)

Anyone with a good fishing tale to swap and new anglers, are most welcome.
