Attack on businessman

Local Police in Malaga have arrested an 18-year-old man and charged him with injuring and threatening a local businessman who owed money to his father. Police were called out to a fight in Calle Jose Manuel Perez Estrada, in the San Jose – El Viso area. According to eye-witness accounts, the police discovered that an older man, who had suffered a hyperglycaemic attack and was lying on the floor and his son had gone to a local warehouse to ask the owner for some money that was owed to the father for work he had done for him. They spoke to the owner’s wife but when they began to behave threateningly towards her, she called her husband. When he came to speak to them, the son allegedly attacked him, threw a carafe of water and a handsaw at him, and attempted to hit him with a pickaxe.

The victim was able to avoid the blows and take refuge in the warehouse while the attacker continued to hit the door until his father suffered the attack.
