Not enough beds

NURSES at Malaga’s Carlos Haya Hospital have complained that there are too few beds in the Oncology department for the amount of patients who need them. There are 15 beds in the department, seven double rooms and one single room.

The nurses believe there should be more single rooms for patients and their families to spend this difficult time in peace and privacy.

They also criticise the lack of nurses to carry out all the work in the department where patients need both physical and psychological care.
