Benalmadena businesses asked to show consideration

THE Mayor of Benalmadena, Javier Carnero, recently held a meeting with business people and residents in the Puerto Marina area of the town in an attempt to resolve the noise problem coming from bars in the port. The business owners have been asked to show more consideration and self-discipline by running their establishments during times that will not annoy the local residents, thereby avoiding fines. Restaurants will be allowed to open until 2am; pubs and bars with music until 3am and discos until 6am, although these times may change.
