Organised gang busted

NATIONAL POLICE have uncovered an organised gang which operated in Malaga City and Torremolinos. The members were arrested for swindling and identity theft. Reportedly, the gang specialised in collecting credit card numbers and then using them to buy products over the internet. This system enabled them to swindle around 32,000 euros. According to sources, several searches have been carried out in the gang members’ homes and many scheduled deliveries of the fraudulently-bought items including tools, clothing, shoes, computer products, software, and airplane tickets to South America have been cancelled.
