Classroom for integration

BENALMADENA plans to create a classroom for integration aimed at pupils who are expelled from local colleges. The idea is to prevent youths between 14 and 18 who have been expelled from hanging around on the streets. The Education and Social Welfare Departments of the Benalmadena Town Council hope the project will be up and running within the next month in the Ovoide building. The mayor announced the intention of creating this project which has already been successful in areas such as Ronda and Cartama. It is a way to make sure the youths do something productive with their time, such as learn skills, and prevents them from feeling inferior. The will be taught more civil behaviour and how to integrate in society. The classes would contain small groups of approximately 15 youngsters.
