Suicide case investigated

THE Guardia Civil is investigating an alleged suicide which occurred in Calle Estornina in the Piamonte neighbourhood of Alhaurin de la Torre. According to investigative sources, Local Police were called by the deceased’s wife who told them that her husband had killed himself. Officers are now awaiting the results of the German national’s post-mortem examination.

Allegedly, the body was found with two bullet wounds, one in the torso and the other in the head. Guardia Civil have stated that the case in under investigation as it is unusual for a person to commit suicide by shooting themselves twice – especially with one of the wounds being in the torso.
