Stabbing in Fuengirola harbour

NATIONAL POLICE are looking for a Moroccan man who, according to witnesses, stabbed another Moroccan during a fight in the Tarifa bar in Fuengirola harbour. Investigative sources suspect it is a ‘settling of scores’ as these incidents are very frequent in the area and, according to bar employees, there haave been a number of incidents of drug trafficking.

The aggressor escaped before the Police arrived, and the victim was taken to the Costa del Sol Hospital in Marbella.

Witnesses told Police that the aggressor had entered the bar bleeding from the nose, he went straight into the kitchen and came out with a 20-centimetre blade knife. He chased the other man, finally cornering him in the shipyard area where he stabbed him several times in the legs and chest.
