The fallen remembered

• 15 Nov 2007 •

Parade at the English Cemetery.Sunday 11th November saw St George’s Chapel in Malaga the scene of focus for this year's Remembrance Day parade. The Royal Air Forces Association who have organised the event for the past eight years were joined by the Royal British Legion (Torremolinos Branch) & the Royal Naval Association. At exactly midday, silence fell over Malaga and the bugler from RAF Gibraltar sounded out the Last Post. This was mysteriously echoed seconds later by another unidentified bugler somewhere in the area sounding the same notes.

Around 100 people attended the service and were treated to wine & tapas provided by the RAFA Benalmadena Branch following the parade.
