Gunman who ´threatened to kill ex-girlfriend´ faces jail

A MAN is due to appear in court in Malaga accused of threatening his former foreign girlfriend with a gun. He is also accused of violating a youth on the same day, with the Public Prosecutor requesting a sentence of more than 14 years in prison.

The accused is said to have gone to the Torre del Mar home of his former girlfriend

in December, 2003, accompanied by two minors, with the intention of sexually assaulting her.

She went with them to an abandoned house after he had threatened her at gunpoint, saying if she did not go with him he would hurt her sister and mother.

Once at the house an argument began in which the

accused punched her in the mouth, dragged her by her hair, threw several items at her head, and said he would kill her if she saw another man. No gun has been found.
