American Club elects officers

 On November 14, members of the American Club Costa del Sol (Marbella Chapter) elected its officers for the 2008 term.
Pictured in the photograph above from left to right are: Ulla Aescht-Barak (re-elected Assoc. Member Rep. to Board of Directors), Milagros Hoffmeier (American Rep. to Board of Directors), George Hoffmeier (re-elected President), Cristina Silva (re-elected Vice President), Laurie Taylor (Elected Secretary) and Patricia Salazar (Chairperson Membership Comm.) Not available for the photo was Andrew Anderson (re-elected Treasurer).
The American Club of the Costa del Sol was founded more than 33 years ago and has five Chapters, from Sotogrande/Estepona to Nerja/Almunecar, and several hundred members (both American and International). Its mission is to assist the local American community, organise social activities, give significant contributions to local charities and also to support International members and non-member Americans visiting or living on the Costa del Sol.
