Tickets for the AVE Malaga to Madrid to cost between 30 and 76 euros

THERE WILL be five different prices for tickets; the most expensive will be 76 euros, which is for a one-way ticket. Renfe had until now kept quiet about the prices and are yet to make the timetable public. They announced that the tickets will be on sale now and the web ticket will be the cheapest of all. If it is bought 15 days in advance, it will cost 30.40 euros. Business people will have a special price list and will not need to make a reservation. The price of a ticket from Malaga to Antequera will be 10 euros. The cost for the same journey at the moment is 13.10 euros.

Currently, only the normal prices are available which will be implemented throughout the AVE network in Spain.

Further price details will be available from the end of this month.

Earlier this week a test train travelled at 160 km/h and passed through the west tunnel at Abdalajis. The east tunnel is still undergoing waterproofing work.
