Christmas is going green

THIS YEAR there will be a reduction of 25 per cent of energy used as compared to 2006. The lights will be turned on until midnight, two hours less than last year. Climate change and its affects will change the typical Christmas card picture. From Thursday to Saturday the lights will be on until midnight and on New Years Eve until 4:00AM. With this measure and the use of energy saving bulbs there will be a twenty five per cent reduction in energy.
