Great fun at Torremolinos carnival events

THE Principe de Asturias auditorium in Torremolinos was packed full of people for the 2007 carnival events that were held recently and the whole audience had great fun.

The Grand Gala brought carnival groups from Cadiz to the local stage and filled the auditorium with music, colour and humour.

The number of participants in the fancy dress ball held at the Congress Hall was equally high and the disguises competition saw young and old joining in the fun.

The parade through the streets of La Carihuela was also a great success and the ‘Burning of the Sardine’ in San Miguel gathered hundreds of locals and tourists to enjoy the fun and the good weather.
