Pietsch permanent show

• 03 Jan 2008 •

THE Aztec Country Club in Riviera del Sol, Mijas CTHE Aztec Country Club in Riviera del Sol, Mijas Costa, will be displaying a permanent exhibition of paintings by creative and innovative Russian artist, Natalia Pietsch, from January 2008 onwards. Art lovers are sure to enjoy this large selection of unique high- quality paintings.

Natalia will surprise admirers of her art with regular events and new collections over the year.

Although classically trained in basic artistic techniques, Natalia began searching for her own style. In the early days, that style was figurative romantic.

Using aquarelle, tempera and graphics, her work included the human form and animals, usually in a surrealistic style.

Now she is using acrylic and sand to integrate structure and relief into her paintings, bringing depth and a passion for life to her work.

The results shock the senses with rushes of colour,  movement and the artist's special brand of symbolism. Vivid paintings full of emotion with sensual swirls of colour and a multitude of small golden drops. Hidden amongst layers of colour are small hands, fingers, half formed faces and skeletons - life beginning and life ending.

Natalia settled in Southern Spain and its influence has had a significant effect on her work. She has clients in Spain, Italy, Germany, the Baltic States and around the world. Her work is inspired by her own emotional landscape and her greatest wish is for her public to explore that landscape with her.

For more information about Natalia Pietsch, her art and news, go to her Webgallery www.artenata.eu.
