Working and business women association event

THE association of working and business women, ‘Network’, will be holding its annual open event which includes a day of workshops and presentations for members and sponsors. This event which also welcomes non-members, both men and women, who are engaged in business activities in the Algarve, will begin at 9:30am on Wednesday, February 13, at Hotel Jupiter in Praia da Rocha, ending at 4:10pm.

The President of ‘Network’, Janice Russell, has said that the lively and informative day will be held in English and will offer up-to-date insights on business matters, with the three morning seminars being repeated in the afternoon. The first talk will be by tax consultant, Dra Filomena Ramilo, who will offer information about the latest changes in Portuguese tax laws.

Secondly, a specialist in coaching and corporate communication, Dr Graham Baxter, will present an interactive workshop introducing System DNA communication tools.This will be followed by British playwright, actor and corporate consultant, David Napthine, with an interactive workshop on creative team- building and finally, Flavio Bucciarelli, manager of Starwood hotels, will give a talk on the value of investing in organisational development.
