Dinner and quiz to aid homeless dogs

SOS Animal Charity which is now caring for more than 200 homeless dogs at its refuge in La Cala de Mijas is to hold a fund raising dinner and quiz at Christines Restaurant, Playamarina, next to Zaks nail studio between El Faro and La Cala, this Saturday at 7.30pm.

The fun quiz will follow the three-course meal, priced at 15 euros per head including wine.

New kennels are at present being built, with a thank you extended to all who have phoned with building material donations, though the appeal for tiles, cement and sand is ongoing to ensure that all the dogs are provided with dry and secure housing.

The refuge is also appealing to anyone who has a trailer they no longer need. Please phone Sandy on 952385923 or 666814056.
