No water shortage

NO WATER shortage problems are expected this summer in the Costa del Sol region.

This follows recent rainy weather which means that reserves in the La Concepción reservoir, together with supplies from Marbella desalination plant and other infrastructures, will guarantee expected needs.

Juan Cañete, an official for Acosol, the water company that supplies the Mancommunidad of the Western Costa del Sol, warned however that urbanisations and others with concessions should use reservoir water first, and leave wells alone so that water tables can fully recover.
