A TABLET that has not yet been launched on the market, won the ‘Best Of CES’ and ‘Best Mobile Device’ awards at the Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas; namely the Motorola Xoom. The Android 3 Honeycomb Operating System was custom built from the ground up.
As such it has been touted as the number one competitor to the upcoming iPad2, according to SlashGear. However it is entering a highly competitive market of newly launched tablets, including the recent Blackberry Playbook.
The Motorol Xoom runs on a dual-core Tegra 2 processor and boasts a 10-inch display, HDMI-out, front and back facing cameras, and is connected with Verizon’s super fast 4G LTE network.
Its launch date is set for Spring.
