MOTRIL – EIGHT youths in their 20s have been reported by Motril Local Police after they were caught hiding seven exact replicas of military equipment. They apparently used them to simulate battles in an area which is popular with hikers in the province of Granada.
The items included two guns, a gas mask, tactical goggles, a machete, a tactical camouflage transport bag and 11 clips, none of which had a permit. They were also using public land at a time when it was used by day trippers.
The Guardia Civil seized the equipment and are investigating where it came from.
