MALAGA – A BUREACRATIC error has allowed the names and personal addresses of eight Malaga police officers to fall into the hands of a criminal gang they arrested in 2007. According to the Police Union, they were called to court by means of a summons delivered at their homes, instead of being called by their badge numbers.
This means the information is also available to the defendants’ lawyers.
The union has demanded to know who was responsible for this serious error. Some of the officers and their families have been moved to safe houses, as the gang is considered dangerous and have killed a Guardia Civil officer.
