NATIONAL POLICE are searching for a 26-year-old man from Puerto Real, Cadiz, who was last seen in Ronda on January 10. Ivan Hernandez Chacon was at a disco in the town with his girlfriend when the two had an argument and he left by car at approximately 5.30am.
He withdrew €60 from a cash machine in the town, but since then, the account which he shares with his mother has not been touched. His vehicle is a red Seat Leon, with license plate number 0780 DYG, which has tinted rear windows, and has now been found in Ronda.
Ivan is unemployed but spent the Christmas period in Barcelona. He allegedly had problems with his brother, and had possibly stolen money from him. He had been in the Spanish legion for several years.
After his disappearance was reported on Canal Sur TV, several people called the station claiming to have seen him in Ronda, near the bus station.
