MENTAL health patients were evacuated last week when sewage flooded a public building in Inca. Heavy rainfall caused the building’s plumbing to overflow. Patients were turned away for their regular treatment. The building had been due to be renovated, but the works had been put on hold. A department spokesperson said the incident was an isolated event, however the clinic’s employees claim the building suffers from flooding on a regular basis.
