Fluorescent Rave charity event in Quesada

THE Fluorescent Rave charity event on February 4 took place in Firefly Quesada. The night consisted of glow sticks, neon lights and of course fluorescent clothing. The night was a true success raising money in aid of the charity ‘’Hearing dogs for deaf people’’ and local celebrity, Georgie May’s Mount Kilimanjaro charity climb later this year.

Georgie is to complete her first album with the record company 6,913 recordings, a new singing project with producer Robbie Fithon, named ‘The Undertakings’.

A string of film and television work of which at the moment cannot be named, and the lead role in the feature film ‘Be my Valentine’, and she will be leaving for her charity climb later on this year.

“Fundraising is a passion of mine, giving to others is the most rewarding thing that an individual can do and so I do as much as I can,” said Georgie.

This was the first of many fun filled fundraisers to be held this month.

With a ‘’Red and White Amour Ball’’ to be held on Saturday ready for the Valentines celebrations.
