Bendodo promises marina for Axarquia area

THE President of the Partido Popular for Malaga Province, Elias Bendodo, has said that if his party wins the regional elections in 2012, the marina between Nerja and Torrox would be considered a priority.

He said that this project was a key element in the development of the area, and that the current governing team in the Junta had done nothing, despite announcing a €33m investment in the project many years ago.

Meanwhile, he said the exact location would have to be decided by a team of specialists, but that it would be between the mouth of the Chillar River and Torrox lighthouse.
