Fake Police crash into real copper in Fuengirola

FUENGIROLA – MEN pretending to be Guardia Civil officers crashed into the vehicle of a ‘real’ National Policeman in Fuengirola. The ‘real’ officer was driving along a one-way street when he turned a corner and ran into two vehicles coming in the wrong direction, colliding with one of them.

The drivers got out of their cars, and the first one identified himself as a Guardia Civil, telling him to give him his details to sort the paperwork out later.

In the two cars, there were at least four other men, all wearing jackets with the words ‘Guardia Civil’ on them.

However, when the officer showed the driver his badge and asked him to do the same, they all rushed to get away. The policeman shot at the tyres but they abandoned the vehicles.

However, they were later caught by National and Local police.

They were carrying replica guns.
