GARRUCHA Town Hall has reported that work is being carried out in the town to get it ready for the influx of tourists expected over Easter. As part of the Municipal Works and Services Plan, gardens, streets and beaches are being cleaned, repaired and improved. In Calle Mayor, cables have been removed from the façades of houses, improving the general appearance of the area.
The Mayor, Juan Francisco Fernandez, requested citizen collaboration to prevent acts of vandalism which create a poor image of the town.
