THREE men were arrested in Malaga City after they were found selling 10 motorbike helmets just 30 metres from the shop from which they had allegedly stolen them. Clients informed the shop in Camino de San Rafael that helmets identical to their own were being sold outside, although the shopkeepers had not yet noticed that they were missing.
The Local Police were informed and a nearby patrol arrived on the scene, where the thieves were still selling trolley-full of stolen helmets from a van.
The value of the stolen goods amounted to €518, so the theft was considered a crime and they were taken into custody. The helmets were returned to the shop.
