Fleeing teen runs over three people

THREE people were run over in a parking lot near a nightclub in Guardamar del Segura in the early hours of Sunday morning. According to reports, the driver of the car was a 19-year old who initially got out of the car to help a friend who was being beaten up.

His friend’s aggressor then hit him over the head with a glass bottle. In his attempt to flee, he got back into the car to drive off, running over his friend, the aggressor and a 35-year old woman.

The two injured men, aged 19 and 21, were arrested along with the driver of the car as well as his friend. The Guardia Civil believe that the fight was due to over consumption of alcohol.
