Torrevieja Lions attract the business community

IN recent months the Torrevieja Costa Lions Club have been actively seeking support in their fund raising activities from local businesses and organisations.

Businesses happy to support the Lions include The International Business Association(TIBA), Comaskey Properties, Pocket Pages, TV Choice and in the near future the women’s business group ‘Women of Fire’ will adopt the Lions as their Charity for the months from July to September.

Lion President Iain Bennett was delighted this week to receive a Samsung 19″ Television from TV Choice Sales Director Derek Shankland, the Television will be a permanent fixture at all the Lions Club events where their exhibition stands are in use, and will enable the Lions to let the public see more fully the work of Lions both locally and Internationally. In return for their support Iain presented Derek with a framed Certificate of Appreciation.
