THE rains on Sunday through Monday were especially intense in the north of the Alicante Province and south of Valencian province. There was an accumulated rainfall of 60 litres per square meter in the municipality of Millena and 49 in Beniarres, according to the State Metrological Agency (Aemet).
There was 44 litres per square meter in Agres, 34 in Muro, 36 in Vall de Gallinera, 45.8 in Adzubia, 47.8 in Confrides, 45.8 in Guadalest and 35.4 in Altea.
In the Castellon province there was more than 10 liters per square meter in Onda.
