MORAIRA’S Solpark Tennis Club will be hosting the tenth Exhibition of Great Spanish Wines today (Thursday) and tomorrow. Some eleven wineries from all over Spain will participate, as will the Agricultural co-operative of Teulada’s Sant Vicent Ferrer. The event is a collaboration between Tennis Solpark and Teulada Town Hall and will be open from 2pm to 8pm on these two days.
Admission is free, and it is hoped by the organizers that once again this year attendance will be high, and people can have the opportunity to sample some of the countries finest wines.
The event will involve appellations from Valencia, Tierra de Leon, Priorat, Jumilla, Toro, Alicante, Rueda, Utiel Requena , La Mancha and Rioja, said Yvon Bellefroid, manager of Solpark, and represents a wide selection of the very best of wines that Spain has to offer.
Moreover the co-operative wines and Blasco de Teulada will give local flavour to the tastings and again provide an opportunity for the enthusiast to sample the best that the locality can provide.
