A GERMAN man was arrested in Palma for allegedly abusing his own children and even offering them to other paedophiles. The children were aged three and nine. The 32-year-old also supposedly posted internet videos recorded in 2008 in which he starred as ‘Cooldaddy’ sexually abusing various children and forced them to have sex with each other.
Investigations began a month ago following a warning from the German embassy of the existence of this video on the internet.
The video offered an email for other paedophiles to contact him, but investigators discovered it had been cancelled at the beginning of April and the accused used remote connections in an attempt to cover his track.
Personal details linked to the email account were also false, so they had to analyze the content of the video for clues.
The recording was of an adult and four children in a boat’s cabin and inside a home and since one of the children called him ‘Dad’, they searched schools to find the identity of the girl and then arrested the father.
At the time of his arrest, officers seized a memory card from a video camera that had several recordings in which he appears to have sexual relations with the then six-or-seven-year-old daughter of his ex-partner as well as photos of the children in the video.
When searching the house, they also identified the room in which the video was recorded as well as items that appeared in the recording.
