A TWO-YEAR-OLD boy died in Encinas Reales, Cordoba, after he was knocked down by a parked 4×4 vehicle which began to move. The child, who died almost instantly, was with his 57-year-old grandmother, who was slightly injured when the car ran over her leg. She was also treated for an anxiety attack.
The vehicle was parked on a hill outside a church and the hand brake had been left off. It had been parked by a 30-year-old maintenance worker who was temporarily employed by the town hall. He also had to receive counselling.
It rolled 10 metres more after running over the victims before hitting a wall.
